Thinking Of You

Hi John

I passed Gorry’s garage today

You pumped my tyre there once

Later that evening

In Heggarty’s  haggard

You pumped me

The tyre remained solid

I still ride that bike

 While you developed a taste

For more exotic models

You revel in the glamour

Of your new fangled gadgets

 I carry the cost

Of your evenings pumping

I see your newest model is automatic

And sports a spoiler

Manually you were never much

The spoiler

Speaks for itself

With respect

I suggest you consider

A hydraulic pump

Mary

Hi Smurf !!

Em ? Confused.com !!

This left me a little confused to how I should be reading it,

It could have a number of meanings to several of the lines?

Should the reader read it as its written or between the lines?

An interesting read, thanks for sharing,

Regards,

Steve.

Tony,

I really enjoyed this letter poem, a lot of pumping going on in the various meaning of the word, great humour layered through the letter, you put a smile on my face.thumbs up Maire x
