Immature poets imitate; mature poets steal.
NONE COMPARE
DescriptionThe title already gives it away

I have watched the sun set in the great horizon
and seen it rise again over low hills and mighty mountains.
I have seen the moon trace its course over mowed meadow and lush green forest.
I have gazed at stars and heavenly bodies in foreign places.
Yet none compare.
I have watched the mighty sea crash against the mightier rocks
and seen it roll gently up the sun and rain drenched sand.
I have seen waterfalls pound and trash, their misty journey certain.
I have gasped in wonder at wind swept valleys and sheltered bays.
Yet none compare.
I have watched the eagle in his majestic glide from craggy cliffs
and seen the gentle swan swim silently on a placid lake.
I have seen the salmon glisten on its homeward river chase.
I have been stopped by the beauty and scent of tropical blossoms.
Yet none compare
They say that beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
And surely I have beheld the sparkle of diamonds, the shimmer of gold.
Smelt the aroma of the exotic and tasted the sweetness of natures finest.
Yet, one look, one smile, one kiss, one moment with you.
None compare.
