Kiss 

 

Water ripples,

after every pebble

thrown in.

Smiles on our faces

as we walk along.

the lake.

 

 

 

Taking my hand

in his.

my eyes,

 transfixed

heart is melting

when his,

Lips

touches mine.

 

 

 

Telling me,

that He thought

 that he was falling

in love with me

but I, 

have already fallen in love

With him.

Told me,

He had to go away

for awhile.

 

 

 

I promised him that I would

Wait,

for his return.

 Guess I was a fool

cause Im feeling lonely still

Without him

in my life.

 

 

Cry myself to sleep

night after night.

Wishing, hoping that he will

come back and kiss me,

like he used to do.

I miss him so much!

Just want him back again

with me again.

 

 

 

Each minute

seems like an hour

Time is

 dragging on by

and its getting me down

really down.

Its,

 

been over a year now.

 

Why does he not return?

has he found somebody

new?

I hope not,

My heart 

it is so,

very fragile and would

surely break..

 

 

 

Why hasn't he written to me

I  wander?

or,

telephoned me.?

 forgot my numbe perhaps?

or

home address.

Maybe this is the reason

he,

hasn't contacted me.?

 

 

 

 Sit moping around my house

Im sick of eating pizza's and Take-aways.

Its no fun!

When he isn't here to,

share them With me.

Feel so lonely, especially at night.

Hearing the Wind and the rain

out side,

blowing and ruffling the trees, and splashing against

the window panes.

 Feeling so lonely and,

so cold and sometimes,

very afraid.

 

 

 

 

Knock on the door

thats strange,

 at this hour of the night.

my God.

Its the police!

What do they want with me.?

 

 

 

 

"Miss Walsh is this your name.?

"Yes it is but why are you asking,

What is wrong officer.?"

"We believe, that you know a

Mr Patrick  Wilcher .?"

 

"Yes! I do, I, mean I  haven't seen him

though' In over a year,

What has happened to him.?

 

"He was involved in a motor bike accident Miss

over a year ago!

Was badly injured.

Then went into

 a coma!

but, has only awakened two days ago!

Kept calling out a name.

His Mother, informed us

that it,

is you."

 

 

 

 The following morning

I caught a flight,

to America!

had money put by for a rainy day,

to last for a little while at least.

Rushing through' those hospital doors,

Making enquires,

to which ward that Patrick was in.

Also location.

 

 

 

 

 

Couldn't belive my eye's,

When I seen him lying there

in that hospital bed.

"Im sorry,

I have't written or phoned you.

The accident seen to that.

But I haven't forgotten you,

Remember,

When we strolled alongside the lake

and throwing,

pebbles in.

Watching how the water rippled.

I told you, that I though' I

were falling in love

With you.?"

 

 

"Yes, I remember Patrrick

I haven't forgotton."

 

 

"Well my precious.

I Have fallen in love

With you

I couldn't stop thinking about you.

Its over a year since the accident, I know,

but need to ask you this.?

Have you met any one else.?"

 

 

 

"Oh' Patrick' Patrick!

its, you, that I am in love with.

Have been for a very long time."

 

 

 

 

"come closer to me, 

 

my precious and please

 

may I ask of your patience? for when I fully recover

 

there is something else, which

 

I would like to ask of you as well.?"

 

 

 

 

 

My heart melted as I leaned

over to him.

Our lips met once again.

how Ive, Waited,

for

 that Kiss.

 And,

 looking very forward too,

What may follow.

 Wink' Wink.

enjoyed this susanna a nice happy piece changed nicely and had two different halves that were equally as good. you could have gone deeper in the depressing area but you pulledd it up along with the reader

Hi Susanna,

an extremely deep and somewhat moving piece, as I read through, my mind was conjuring up possible endings, but your ending wasn't one of them. I was pleasantly surprised.

Anyway ... half way through I wanted to yell at my computer ..."Forget him ... I'm here for you ...!!!"

My point is that the writing brought me in and kept me there ... that is what good writting is all about ...

You know Susanna I thought I was reading a lovely love poem at first and then you go and break my heart and break it again and then repair it. It's a poem, it's a story, it's like being handed a piece of delicate lace, so fragile you're afraid too much movement would break the stitching. I smiled and was warm, then heart-broken, then worried about you, then the police?? It's a real emotional heart-string pulling piece in all directions. I feel like sitting down and watching the movie "An Affair To Remember" with some hankees. A wonderful write (you prob guess from the first bit I was going to say that!)

Sometimes I want to kick your ass Susanna, :-) you have all these beautiful thoughts, ideas and words and you put things together in a wonderfully crazy way. You tell stories and give us dreams and ideas but you don't edit and it drives me nuts :-) Take time, check the layout, edit a bit, better still, get a friend to edit you. Your work is brilliant because it is heartfelt and honest and open and tells stories in an oddly flowing and different way. Don't let your writing, or you, down, by rushing to get it out there. This is genuine positive feedback and I hope you take it positively, I am in no way knocking, just trying to support and if you feel like kicking my ass for my critique, say it.
