Insecurity

DescriptionThis was written when I was a mature student some time ago and the pressure was on me to succeed. I was trying to convince my self that I had no worries, but realised that indeed I did.

Look at me!

I am 43

I have everything

A nice family

Own car and new house

I work very hard

As a student nurse

I study a lot

I meet new people

I have the future

To look forward to

I hope that

I will be a success

Please God, give me

Strength to carry on.

Hi Jeanna

Another good piece

I can actually feel the anxciety within your words

Hi Jeanna !!

I went through the same emotions myself, I had my own plumbing business, and lads working for me, and I hurt my back and got into dept had to let the lads go and wind up the business......

After a year of recovery I went as a mature student to study childcare & special needs, something I always thought of doing, it was tough as I have six children and my lovely wife!

But I got through it and am now working with special needs children in a job I love ;-D

Sometimes its hard to make change in your life, but it can be done !!!

I enjoyed this read, thanks for sharing,

Kind regards,

Steve.

Many thanks for your empathy. My husband was made redundant before the Christmas of my final exam. I had to carry on if it killed me. My exam paper was commended, but I never told any of the others. Its amazing what you can accomplish when the cards are down as long as you have inner resources.

Take care
Jeanna

kinda of where i am right now...yikes,,,,great poem

Hi Z

Thanks for your comments. That was written 20 years ago! And I got through it successfully - hope that you do too.

Regards Jeanna
