Death And Rebirth Of Word

DescriptionA little poem about death and rebirth of word. Maybe is just for me. But it can apply to many people who lived under dictatorial regimes. Any kind of comment appreciated

Death And Rebirth Of Word

Tennage I was when I saw

some violent creatures

with human’s face

nailing the word

on a big cross.

I saw it dying

while nailed there,

like Jesus

Now I pray every day

for its rebirth,

Forgetting the crimes

of those violators and  the sneering

of that heartless crowd.

Hi Ndrek Gjini

Those nightmares indeed can be very frightningshockedcry   Used to wake up screaming myself when I were much youger Aghhhhhhhhh!

Good writethumbs up

A great piece with depth Ndrek.Perhaps there is another story behind this.Well done James

Thanks very much for reading and commneting on my poem.

It is all about the lack of freedom to speach. Thausands of people were killed or put in prison for life just becouse they spoke out against the communist regime. Some of my  very closee family relation spent more than 20 years in prison just for this reason. It was really a nightmare.

Thanks again for reading this poem. I edited it becouse there were many mistakes.

regards

ndrek

Hi Ndrek hope the future and present isn't as painful for you, all the same you got out this ill feeling nicely through your writing, i think this way of expression is always best, you can show any emotion with words, beautiful. ANTHONY

A good write Ndrek, nightmares are awful, I used to have them as a child too, I think it is quite common. thumbs up

Interesting! It's a poem to be thought about which I highly enjoy!! For some reason I saw angry teenagers being cruel to animals? Jeering at the pain in another living being, relishing in it's suffering. Indeed like Jesus' suffering! thank you for posting! I can think about this for a long enough time !!
