Writing is not necessarily something to be ashamed of, but do it in private and wash your hands afterwards.
Some Days

Surrendered to the question of how I am. From those who ask, more than half do so out of politeness. The ones who care, don't deserve to suffer for you, so spare them the punishment of the real response. The truth is that, there are days. And then there are days. In the path of learning to make the most of the ones that turn out bright, I aim to squeeze every single drop, to mindfully enjoy each slice, to recreate in every bite of the sweetest orange. For I am ignorant of what tomorrow might bring, I leave only the peel when the clock puts closure. When unpredictably all the nectar is gone, no matter how much energy I invest in squeezing, all I am left with is the taste of a sour lemon. Add as many spoonfuls of sugar as your perseverance in obtaining happiness urges you to, that you'll solely obtain an unsteady island in the middle of the acidic sea. If you really want to know, today I am swimming in the murky waters, failing to reach the white island. Giving up the denial that you still hold the power I granted you with. Sovereignty over my thoughts, and ruling my sleep. Responsible of what tomorrow will pour into my glass.
