Writing competitions

The 2nd Annual Writing Spirit Award for Short Fiction and Poetry is open!

After the fantastic response to our first Writing Spirit competition (currently being adjudicated) we're delighted to announce this year's version. The competition is now open to both poetry and fiction and entries must be emailed or posted. Visit the Writing Spirit 2010 page for details.
We run regular writing competitions for our members. Browse the best poetry, non-fiction and fiction entries in our monthly competition winners section.
We also list external writing competitions that are open to all writers. If you have a writing competition or call for entries that you would like to promote to our members, then drop us a line.
All monthly competition winners are eligible for inclusion in our annual "Best of Writing4all" book so as a winner you would have the opportunity to see your work in print. All entries to any competition, as per all members' work uploaded to the site, remains the copyright of the member and prior to any publication of winners' submissions specific permission to publish will be sought from each copyright holder.
