Site Shut Down: 17th-19th November
We've been planning a major new layout, design and structure for the Writing4all website for some time now. Primary amongst the changes will be a completely different presentation of the news. Events and resource items will also be categorised and highlighted in various new ways. In order to make the switch to the new revamped site, we have to shut down the website from 17th-19th November. Have no fear: all writings and associated comments will be safely migrated to the new version of the site. We will be up and running again on Friday 19th November. Sorry for any inconvenience caused, but we think you'll like the changes.

A NEED OF NEWS UPDATES RE THE PROGRESS OF THE NEW SITE ?
Dear writing4all ie people
A lot of us are having trouble accessing our posted work on site, and also finding our friends' postings on the site..
There are currently no poems listed on our profiles, (as we were used to seeing and being able to access) , and there is no link where we can find members' names etc..
I keep telling people in my posts that I have sent out so far, that this is a huge site, and it is still nowhere near finished yet.
It will take some time to get it up and running in its full and newly completed form...
I am hoping this is correct.. but people who are regular users are concerned and discouraged at the moment.
So I am thinking it might be useful to put some news/updates etc on about the progress of this new revamp to encourage people to be patient..
What do you think?
Yours,
BARBARA BOYD-ANDERSON

I have to agree with all you say ...BARBARA.. and also perhaps someone in admin. might like to post a brief update to all members because i know i'm confused somewhat ..specifically with regards to feedback posts ......disregard for posting etiquette...but as you have said this is indeed a big undertaking so
a little patients is the name of the game
