Hi Marion,

You're really kind to say so and for commenting. Thanks so much.

Hi Steve

Congratulations on this fantastic achievement. You must be so proud particularly when you think of the ‘greats’ that have been nominated and won this award in the past.

Well done again and wishing you the very best of luck.

Vanessa

You are very welcome and thank you too "Smiles"

An ocean of congratulations to you - and if a pat on the back can get you to the winner's post, then here is my heartiest pat ever!

Hi Peter,

As some of O'casey's characters say in his plays, thanks a gradle. Your 'heartiest pat' is hugely welcome and appreciated.

Maeve/Buttercup

Hi Maeve,

I can feel the honesty in your good wishes. Thanks so much. And, if my advice to you in the past has helped you, I'm really pleased. Time seems to gallop by like a herd of wild horses these days. Just can't rein in enough of it - my excuse for not commenting on your work and that of other w4all members for a while. But anytime you want me to take a look at something specific, I'd be happy to.

Steve

Steve, great news; jaysus there was me, a while back, posting comments on a writer's work, who is now nominated for the  Pen/O'Henry Award, and who took the time to comment on my work, always new I would touch base with greatness ;-)

Really delighted on the news, Steve, congrats a thousand times over.

Bobby

Hey Bobby,

Good to hear from you. You know, you have this way of making a chap feel immensely pleased with himself and equally humbled. You've done it before with your overly generous comments on my work. I've just read out to my girlfriend what you've written - she's tired of my banging on about this nomination. Her reaction was that I love it. And, yup, I cannot deny it, I do. Thanks a lot.

I hereby promise to make more time to getting around to reading your work (and others' too) on W4all and commenting. Apart from finding time, it's always very rewarding reading one's peers.

Regards,

Steve

Steve, wallow in it, ya deserve it.

As for getting around to reading, mate I am out of here - for obvious reasons - and have been for some while now, deleted all but two of my pieces [but copied all the comments I received]  I still pop in to see if there is any news on writers' acheivments.

While waiting for my success I can certainly enjoy the success of others, who have helped me on me way.  Good to hear from ya, and if there was a champagne emoticon here, it would be up.

Talk to ya, soon.

Bobby
