The Irish Writers’ Centre will celebrate the 2011 commencement of its very successful Peregrine Readings on the 3rd of May with readings from John Connolly, Alex Barclay and Kevin Barry. The Peregrine Readings will run every Tuesday over six weeks from the 26th of April until the 2nd of June. The participating writers will read in the Irish Writers’ Centre and then take the readings on a nationwide tour.

Publishing Ireland is delighted to announce an extended programme at this year’s Dublin Book Festival. Author events will be held from Wednesday, 2nd March – Sunday, 6th March 2011, in a variety of venues throughout Dublin City including the National Library of Ireland, The Gutter Bookshop, Cube at the Project Arts Centre, Dublin City Libraries and, as with previous years, Dublin’s City Hall.
Writers featured at the event include: Anthony Cronin, Dermot Bolger, Paul Howard, Declan Burke, Gene Kerrigan, Claire Kilroy, Kevin Power. Christine Dwyer Hickey, and Fintan O'Toole.
