The theme for all writing submitted for the competition is: “JOURNEY”
1. Entrants may submit an unlimited number of pieces of Flash Fiction.
2. Entry is FREE! Each entry must be:
- 500 words or less; the original work of the author submitting it; never previously published (in any media), self-published, broadcast, and/or have never previously won any competition; typed on one side of the paper only.

Galway Film Centre, in association with RTÉ, is delighted to announce that they will be granting two awards of €9,500 each as part of their 2012 Short Film Awards. Applicants are invited to request an application form from info@galwayfilmcentre.ie and to submit their short script by 12 noon on Friday, March 30th. The best scripts will be short-listed for interview and two winners will be awarded the prize money as well as the use of equipment and facilities from Galway Film Centre, and a commitment from RTÉ to screen the finished film.

Jason O'Donnell a student at the National Learning Centre in Limerick is currently looking for submissions for a book of love poems called The Colour Of Love which is his end of course final project. The book will be published in Limerick later on in the year.

We at Writing4all have been working on many worthwhile developments to
enhance the site for all of our members. We have been tightening our
anti-spam security, improving the writings/readings interface, and fixing
all the little bugs that have affected the site over the last few months.During the process of 'switching on' these enhancements we unfortunately
lost data posted between the period of December 15th to January 16th.
Despite our best efforts we have not been able to recover this data and for
