Contests & Competitions

Below you'll find regularly updated and growing listings of writing contests and competitions in Ireland and abroad. You can narrow down the list by limiting entries to just poetry, fiction, non-fiction or drama.

Our A Small, Good Thing Short Story Competition is a monthly affair with a €100 prize, check out the link on the right for details. We also run monthly best of competitions as well as occasional one-off writing competitions that are open to all members. If you know of a competition that we haven't covered, then feel free to submit it to us. Good luck with your writing!
